About the role
Igandu Njue & Associates Advocates is looking for an associate advocate to join our Nairobi office. You will handle matters for insurers, companies and families across insurance, employment, succession, commercial and property law, and appear before courts and tribunals across Kenya. Prior experience in insurance claims is an added advantage.

What you'll do
Handle a caseload of litigation and advisory matters from instruction to conclusion
Draft pleadings, submissions, opinions and correspondence
Appear before courts and tribunals across Kenya
Advise clients on insurance claims, coverage and related disputes
Conduct legal research and keep matters current with the law
Supervise and guide pupils and attachés on assigned matters
What we're looking for
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
Below three years of post-admission practice
Current practising certificate
Prior experience in insurance claims is an added advantage
Strong drafting, research and advocacy skills
Good judgement, organisation and client care
